In our Teen Travelers series, we welcome all teens to join us in exploring various cultures, celebrations, and traditions around the world!

Junk journals are no ordinary journals, they are books of handmade art! Use recycled materials such as papers, pictures, stickers, fabric and more to record memories, thoughts, and ideas. So, come to the Springboro Library and kick off the new year by using your creativity, and start your junk journaling journey today. Journals and supplies will be provided, but please bring anything you think you might want to use as well.

Join us at the Franklin Library for a free hour-long class of yoga and meditation suitable for all levels.  Our certified instructor will guide you through a gentle and invigorating yoga practice that involves movement, breathing techniques, and meditation.  Chairs are available for those who need to modify positions.

Is there a long distance hike on the Appalachian Trail or other long trail in your future but you're not sure where to start?  Andy Niekamp from Outdoor Adventure Connection will give you the knowledge and confidence to plan a long distance hike.  You'll learn planning skills about gear, clothing, food planning, resupply methods, shuttles, long-term parking, trail safety, hostels, smartphone apps, guidebooks, maps, trail magic, and more.  Learn some basic resources and tips to get you started on planning your hike whether it is a week-long hike or months-long hike.

Bring your holiday spirit and plenty of energy to the Springboro Library for a fun fitness dance party. Get a workout, but by dancing to Christmas songs! You don't need any experience in dancing or exercising to participate. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Cold water will be provided.

Take some time away from the screens and come to the Franklin branch to play some good old-fashioned board games. Bring your friends and family, and a little competitive spirit, and play a variety of games.

Join us at the Springboro Library for a hauntingly fun Halloween party! Come dressed in costume and participate in games and crafts. Spooky snacks will be provided.

K-Pop (Korean popular music) has become a global phenomenon in the music and entertainment industry. With dozens of worldwide famous acts, and more debuting all the time, it's no wonder why K-Pop artists have millions of fans. Join us at the Springboro Library to celebrate the music industry's biggest artists, and experience a little bit of Korea for yourself. We'll have music, crafts, and snacks. When you register, let us know who your favorite K-Pop group is!

The Franklin Library has been open for 100 years, and to celebrate, we want to see if you can come up with 10 answers for 10 various topics. Can you be the first to name 10 vegetables? Ten states? Ten animals that begin with the letter B? Come to the Franklin branch and play along in this game similar to Scattergories, and even win some small prizes.

The new school year is just around the corner, so come and make supplies and other crafty things using only duct tape. If you have anything at home that you'd like to personalize, go ahead and bring that too!
