Throughout the year, the Library provides programs in which children may participate. Please check the specific event to determine the age level and if registration is required.
Thanks to everyone who participated in our children's book club with the wonderful story of Wonder by R.J. Palacio. It was a great discussion.
We look forward to seeing everyone again in the fall for the 2013 Newbery Award Winning book, The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate.
Here is a little summary of the book:
"When Ivan, a gorilla who has lived for years in a down-and-out circus-themed mall, meets Ruby, a baby elephant that has been added to the mall, he decides that he must find her a better life."
Read to Raider is a program for children of all ages to come and read to dogs. They are trained Therapy Dogs [1] who sit and listen to the stories. If your child has a hard time reading in front of other people, it can be a way for them to take their time and not feel overwhelmed about reading.

If you enjoy reading and love dogs then come join us!
It will usually last about an hour and it will be from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
On Saturday, December 7, 2013 Santa will be coming to visit the library. All ages are welcome, bring the whole family. Registration is not required. We will have crafts and other fun things to do while you wait to see Santa.
