Basic Microsoft Computer Classes

Just the basics...These classes are for beginning computer users and/or those unfamiliar with the specific Microsoft programs.

MS Office Basics - March 5 from 7:00-8:30pm

MS Word - March 12 from 7:00-8:30pm

MS Excel - March 19 from 7:00-8:30pm

MS PowerPoint - March 26 from 7:00-8:30pm

~ Participants may bring their own computer but it is not necessary.

~ The teacher will be projecting his computer screen for demonstration.

~ Adults 18 and up.  Seating on a first come basis.

Teen Cupcake Wars

Decorate cupcakes inspired by your favorite book while watching a movie. Cupcakes and supplies are provided.

Registration is required; please sign up at the branch where you will be participating.

Crack the Cursive Code - Refinement Practice

 

Throughout the month of February, there are four classes available that talk about "Cracking the Cursive Code." These programs are designed for students in grades 3 through 8 or for adults wanting to learn more about the history of handwriting. Supplies will be provided for everyone.

lets talk handwritingIn the fourth and final class with Ann Bain, you will perfect your skill. Are you cursive ready? Have you practiced enough? Ann will help those in need of improving their handwriting.

Registration is required and you can sign-up at either Franklin 746-2665 or Springboro 748-3200. It is not necessary to attend all four sessions. We encourage participants to attend as many classes as possible, particularly the first session. However, it is not a requirement to attend all four programs.

Crack the Cursive Code - Letterforms and Pencil Practice

 

Throughout the month of February, there are four classes available that talk about "Cracking the Cursive Code." These programs are designed for students in grades 3 through 8 or for adults wanting to learn more about the history of handwriting. Supplies will be provided for everyone.

handwritingHere in the second class, you will start to practice lettering with Ann Bain. Learn what utensils to start with, how each letter is formed and written, and how to hold your utensil and trace letters.

Registration is required and you can sign-up at either Franklin 746-2665 or Springboro 748-3200. It is not necessary to attend all four sessions. We encourage participants to attend as many classes as possible, particularly the first session. However, it is not a requirement to attend all four programs.
