2015 Summer Reading Program Begins

escape the ordinaryThe Summer Reading Program will take place from May 26th to July 26th.  There will be some great programs and prizes given away for children, teens, and adults.  For more information please click the links below:

Family Movie - Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Join us as we show Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day at the Franklin Library.

Enjoy a visit with friends and family, watch a movie, and eat a snack. All ages are welcome. This movie will more than likely appeal to young children and the elementary school age.

Registration is required for the number of snacks and drinks provided. You can sign up at either branch.

All ages are invited to share in the memories of shopping at Thirkield's Store, taffy pulling, church, school and more with Franklin resident Eva Louise (Weesie) Polley.

Seating on a first come basis.

 The book chronicles African American life in Franklin, Ohio through the eyes and ears of long-time resident Weesie Polley.
